Key Medical Management was established in 1996 by Claudia Daniel, a former corporate trainer and auditor for a large multi-state billing company. Claudia saw an opportunity that the industry was missing: providers didn't need another large, impersonal billing company. They needed a trusted partner, one that took the time to understand their practice, find solutions that fit their needs, and deliver genuinely tailored service.
That founding philosophy has never changed. Over the past three decades, Key Medical has grown into a dedicated team of experienced professionals, serving practices throughout Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2020, we relocated our office to Frederick, Maryland keeping us close to the clients we serve.
In 2026, we celebrate 30 years in business, a milestone that reflects the trust our clients have placed in us, the lasting relationships we've built, and the commitment our team brings every single day.

Claudia Daniel
Founder & President
Claudia founded Key Medical Management in 1996 after recognizing a critical gap in the medical billing industry, the need for a smaller, more personal company that could deliver genuinely tailored service to providers. A former corporate trainer and auditor for a large multi-state billing company, Claudia brought rare insider knowledge and a people-first philosophy to everything she built.
David Fish
Chief Technology Officer & Vice President
David joined Key Medical in 1998. As CTO and VP, David oversees IT, compliance, onboarding, and customer success. His extensive expertise ensures that operations are secure, efficient, and always ahead of an evolving industry landscape.

Since joining our team in 2015, Amanda has played an integral role in both developing strong relationships with our clients, and ensuring our in-house team has the support and resources to execute at the highest level.
